KEEP LOOKING THROUGH THE STORM UNTIL YOU SEE HIM

Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. Matthew 14:27 Jesus sent His disciples into the storm, knowing that they would be different when they came out. They had seen Him heal the leper, and even raise the dead, but they didn¡¦t know He had authority over the wind and the waves. There are things you can only learn by getting into the boat and going through the storm. He revealed Himself to them in the worst experience of their lives. He defied impossible conditions to reach them. He proved there is no circumstance you¡¦re facing today in which He will not be with you. Peter said, ¡§Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water¡¨(Matthew 14:28). When Jesus said, ¡§Come¡¨, Peter did not step out on the water, he stepped out on the Word. He believed that if Jesus told him to do the impossible, the power to obey would be inherent His Word! So why did Jesus rebuke him? Because he stopped short of what might have been. He accepted less than what he could have had. Sound familiar?
